Bridle Trails, so named for its proximity to Bridle Trails State Park, is a unique Bellevue neighborhood. Most of the properties in Bridle Trails are acreages with equestrian facilities located around the boundaries of the state park.

According to the City of Bellevue, nearly two-thirds of Bridle Trails is covered with second-growth timber, and additional regulation protects trees on public and private property in the area. There is a predominance of large, single-family lots in Bridle Trails, which contributes to the area’s quiet, semi-rural appearance; however, the area also includes a strip of apartments and condominiums along 148th Avenue NE, across from the Microsoft campus. The general population of Bridle Trails is comprised of well-educated younger professionals. Nearly half of the residents of Bridle Trails are 49 years old or younger. Nearly three-quarters of the population of Bridle Trails are college-educated.
