Nip Tuck Neighborhoods
Sammamish, Washington, 20 miles east of Seattle, is a beautiful city in King County, which SafeWise has named as the safest city in Washington.
Nip Tuck Remodeling is a design-build remodeling firm working with homeowners throughout the Eastside, including Bridle Trails, Bellevue, Clyde Hill, Cottage Lake, Issaquah, Maltby/Cathcart, Medina, Mill Creek, Redmond, Sammamish, and Woodinville.
Sammamish, incorporated in 1999, is a newer Eastside city. Sammamish is bordered by Bellevue to the west across Lake Sammamish, Issaquah to the south, and Redmond to the northwest. Sammamish residents also enjoy two additional freshwater, yet smaller, lakes: Beaver Lake and Pine Lake.
Sammamish has a population of around 70,000, with a median income of $250,000 and an average home value of $1.6 million. It is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Eastside – and also one of the friendliest. Due to its proximity to many prominent companies and startups in the nearby cities of Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond, Sammamish maintains a robust economy.
Living in Sammamish
With its huge network of well-maintained parks, trails, and lake access, Sammamish is not only a safe community, but one to which people are drawn because of the beautiful views and wildlife. The community benefits from a thriving culture and arts scene, with an abundance of art galleries, theaters, and music venues. Excellent schools, in addition to year-round events and activities, make Sammamish a wonderful place to raise a family.
Nip Tuck Remodeling Loves Working in Sammamish!
Our design-build remodeling team loves working in Sammamish and we have completed a number of projects for homeowners there, including a phenomenal laundry room remodel that has had the distinction of winning three awards: the 2020 REX Award for Getaway Rooms, a 2020 NKBA Award, and the 2021 Chrysalis Award for Residential Specialty.
Our design-build remodeling approach allows Sammamish homeowners to work directly with our designers to share their visions of what they want their homes to be.
In this project, the homeowner spent a lot of time in a cramped laundry room – not just doing laundry but also working from home. See how we transformed the room.
Sammamish Featured Projects
We have discovered when working with Sammamish homeowners that they love where they live, but their homes no longer serve their needs. Their lives have changed; their kids have grown. Each of the homeowners has a newfound vision of their home’s potential. Working with our design-build team, we listen to what they need from their homes and help them create a place that takes them from cramped and dark spaces to open and light spaces, offering more storage, more functionality, and more luxury.
Sammamish Kitchen & Family Room Remodel
The owners of this Sammamish kitchen grew weary of spending time in their dark and dated space. We needed to find a way to transform the kitchen and family room into spaces in which they loved to be. Our team:
- Repositioned the island and made it a focal point, by adding an elegant pop of royal blue.
- Added a generously sized built-in table.
- Built beautiful white cabinetry offset by a Carrera marble tile backsplash and a stunning quartz countertop.
- Removed the pantry’s bi-fold doors, creating space for an under-counter refrigerator and glass-front upper cabinets.
Clean & Elegant Sammamish Primary Bath Remodel
These Sammamish homeowners struggled with a primary bath that was dark, dated, and so cramped that the shower and toilet were relegated to a separate room. Our design-build remodeling team:
- Removed two bulky closets and the wall separating the shower area.
- Installed separate his and hers vanities, complete with gorgeous quartz countertops.
- Built an enclosed walk-in shower and jetted tub combo, with a series of recessed niches for display and storage.
- Added a built-in bench for a sauna-like experience.
- Added the special touches that deliver luxury: radiant heat flooring, a hidden charging station, and a waterfall quartz countertop that extends into the glass-enclosed shower.
This project won both REX and NKBA awards.
