The Remodeling Industry Doesn’t Stand Still and Neither Does Nip Tuck Remodeling

At Nip Tuck Remodeling, there are a number of core values we adhere to, including transparency, integrity, communication, and collaboration. But one of the most important core values that the Nip Tuck team holds dear is that we never stop learning. This has been a way of life for us since we opened our doors in 2010. What do we mean by never stop learning? We believe that being the best in our trade means not only staying up to date on the latest trends and designs but on the latest processes and technology that allow us to serve our clients better. Continually learning is what helps us build the knowledge to create the designs that have allowed us to achieve award-winning status as a design-build firm.

NKBA

Nip Tuck Remodeling has been a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) since it was formed. NKBA has rigorous standards in education, design, products, and craftsmanship. NKBA aids industry professionals through NKBA University and professional development courses that raise the bar for the kitchen and bath professionals. In addition, NKBA offers certifications in design for individuals that pass written exams and who have proven themselves through years of experience. Allison is actively working on her CKBD designation.

Remodelers Advantage

Nip Tuck Remodeling is a member of Remodelers Advantage. As a member, we meet with our amazing peer group twice per year. This year, we were honored to have 10 remodeling companies from around the country come to our hometown and focus all their attention on our company! What an honor and experience to host these amazing folks. The organization offers a variety of trainings and certifications to help firms continually improve. The Annual Remodelers Summit is the largest industry event, focused solely on the education and development of the North American remodeling business owner. The Remodelers Summit brings together like-minded remodelers, bestselling authors, and industry leaders for ideas, inspiration, and business solutions.

Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties

The Master Builders Association provides a number of opportunities for education, monthly builder meetings, and support for business building. Founded in 1909, the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties has grown to become the largest local homebuilders association in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) federation, with nearly 2,800 member companies. They are the hosts of the annual REX/T-REX awards, which Nip Tuck has been honored to receive. In addition to being members, April is the co-chair of REX and acting Vice-Chair of the Remodelers Council. MBA also hosts the annual Remodeled Tour of Homes that Nip Tuck participates in.

National Association of Home Builders

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) helps its members build communities. Each year, NAHB’s members construct about 80% of the new homes built in the United States, both single family and multifamily. They provide a variety of educational opportunities to help builders continue to improve their craft. April has CGR and CAPS certifications earned through NAHB (Certified Graduate Remodelers and Certified Aging in Place Specialist).

Guild Quality

Guild Quality provides support to builders, with the goal of elevating the industry. By sharing news, updates, and tools and by providing support to builders, the organization makes it easier for every builder to deliver the best quality to each client.

Belonging to these industry associations is an important way for us to have access to the education and support we need to never stop learning. We are proud of our commitment to delivering the best quality every time and take great pride in our work.

Don’t take it from us – here’s what one of our clients has to say about us:

Nip Tuck recently completed a large remodel for our family’s 1980’s Redmond home. We have lived in the home for over 15 years. Although we still loved the character, it was in need of a major overhaul. We wanted it to feel brand new but retain that character. Almost every room in our home received attention, including full downstairs remodel of the kitchen, great room, laundry, and powder rooms. The results were beyond our expectations! We love that we get to live here for many more years.
