Nip Tuck Remodeling Receives Two Awards of Excellence

The Remodeling Excellence (REX) and Trades Remodeling Excellence (T-REX) Awards were presented by the Remodelers Council of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, the oldest Remodelers Council in the nation, on May 4th at the Seattle Design Center. The Nip Tuck Team was well-represented; April serves as Vice-Chair of the Remodelers Council and was co-Emcee with Chair Ron Palmer of Palmer Residential, LLC.

There is nothing more motivating that to be recognized by our peers for the spectacular projects we get the privilege to build. With five entries and steep competition, we are so honored to have received two coveted kitchen awards, and we are truly grateful to be part of this community.

Nip Tuck Remodeling Receives Remodeling Excellence Award for Kitchen $50,000-$100,000

Congratulations to our designer, Allison Scott, for creating this spectacular design and for winning her first design award! Thank you also for our T-REX partner United Wholesale and Albert Lee Appliance. This kitchen is called “Let There Be Color.” Our goal was to marry the closed off dining room to the kitchen to create a welcoming space. Rich wood, bold blue cabinetry, a special tile feature wall, and lights that pop all come together for a really special design.

Nip Tuck Remodeling Awarded First Place in Remodeling in Excellence in the $100,000-$150,000 category

Our entry “Cozy Inset Kitchen” was up against more than 10 other entries in this category – all beautiful designs. We are so honored to have our work recognized and grateful to our T-Rex partners who worked with us on this project: Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery and Contract Furnishings Mart. This kitchen is a custom, painted inset style kitchen and was inspired by a magazine clipping from our client. She imagined a classic kitchen to include creamy painted inset cabinetry with exposed finial hinges, classic details such as the clay farmhouse sink by ROHL Luxury Faucets & Fixtures and a built-in banquette. We made room for luxury Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances and plenty of wine storage.

No project can succeed the way these have without every person involved giving their best work and collaboration. We are so proud of the entire Nip Tuck team, as well as our partners, colleagues, and vendors, for their hard work and dedication. We are grateful to the Remodelers Council of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties for the recognition. Most of all, we are grateful to our clients who continue to inspire us to be innovative and creative in achieving their goals and creating the homes of their dreams.
