Sammamish Lakeview Primary Bath Remodel
Sammamish Soaking Tub with a View
- 2020 REX Award Winner – Bath Excellence
- 2020 NKBA Honorary Award Winner – Best Before & After
The owners of this Sammamish home wanted a primary bath that would complement the gorgeous views of the surrounding lake on their property. They asked our team to convert the space into a modern, minimalist, luxury primary bath.
- A spacious, luxurious shower to replace the seldom-used bathtub
- More space & storage in the vanity
- A revised layout
- Heated, wood-look tile flooring
- A custom concrete countertop with a chiseled edge
Challenge
The bathroom was cramped with a built-in bathtub and a rounded, encased shower. We needed to find a way to open up the space while incorporating the clients’ style.
- A spacious, luxurious shower to replace the seldom-used bathtub
- More space & storage in the vanity
- A revised layout
- Heated, wood-look tile flooring
- A custom concrete countertop with a chiseled edge
Solution
We started by removing both the bathtub and the shower to open up the space for an elegant freestanding tub surrounded by windows on three sides that overlook the lake below. A new zero-threshold, walk-in shower framed with glass walls hits all the right notes of the minimal-yet-elevated vibes the clients wished for. We installed a floating double vanity for a clean, modern look with ample storage, and added a subtle design element with a linear textured tile backsplash. A warming towel rack, radiant heat flooring and recessed niches in the shower area provide luxurious details that enhance this primary bath.

Result
Our clients were thrilled with the final reveal of their new space. Now, they can unwind in luxury at the end of a long day!
