Bright and Light Kirkland Bath Remodel
Bright, Light, Fresh, and Airy Kirkland Bath Remodel
This Kirkland bath remodel was the second project with this client, who had us complete a kitchen remodel the previous year. They returned to us for the bathroom remodel knowing that we would be able to achieve their goals.
Challenge
Thisl was a fun project to complete. A few must haves for this space were a place to incorporate the Peloton, more functional storage, and a welcoming showering and bathing area. The project included:
- Brighten the space
- Increase the storage space
- Create room for a Peloton bike in the bathroom
- Achieve better functionality
- Improve the shower and bath experience
We primarily left the space in the same configuration, but we were able to make it much more welcoming and efficient. The project included freshening up the paint and millwork in the primary bedroom.
Solution
This Kirkland bath remodel allowed us to replace a huge built-in tub deck with a freestanding tub, creating a perfect space for the Peloton next to the vanity.
The walk-in shower has a small bench for storing large bottles that also works as a perch for shaving legs. The entrance is doorless, creating a welcoming, open experience. The pebbled shower floor adds beauty.
The vanity was also freshened up with equal spacing for the dual sinks, a custom corner cabinet to house supplies, and a charging station for electric toothbrushes and a shaver. The corner by the closet door was underutilized, so we placed a storage chest with a quartz countertop there.
