Experiencing Design-Build Virtually with Nip Tuck

Although we might be staying home for the foreseeable future, it does not mean you need to put your remodeling plans on hold! Nip Tuck Remodeling and our peers within the industry have used the pandemic to better streamline our processes and provide an outstanding customer experience – virtually. Whether you are exploring the possibility of remodeling in the near future or are already a client of ours, we have tools to help you along every step of the way.

Connecting with Leads and Clients through Zoom and Calendly

Before the pandemic, our sales calls with individuals looking to remodel would normally take place over the phone. People would randomly call in with their projects and there would be no face-to-face interaction until an in-person meeting was scheduled. Now, we use the scheduling software Calendly to coordinate Zoom calls with all potential clients so that we can see their smiling faces and meet them personally before we go out to their home.

We used to meet all of our clients in-person as much as possible to look over design samples or discuss details every step of the way through a project. Client meetings can still take place in a socially distanced fashion if necessary. However, we have found that Zoom video calls are just as effective for streamlining small project details and building report throughout the project. We have also used Loom videos for how-tos and plan refinement. 

Because of all of these technologies, we are still able to connect with leads and our clients on a personal level while maintaining the utmost safety standards. 

Capturing your space with the Matterport

Another technology we are currently using is the Matterport. This amazing camera is able to capture your space in 3-D and provide an immersive experience. Once the space is recorded, you can virtually walk through it as though you are physically there! It has been a wonderful tool for allowing our estimator and designers access to the space 24/7 without having to leave their computer.

Partaking in Virtual Events

While we certainly miss shaking hands and connecting with people in-person, Nip Tuck was able to pivot this year and participate in multiple virtual events. The 2020 virtual Remodeling Excellence Awards and National Kitchen & Bath Association were just a couple of these successes! The hosts wore masks and recorded their intros ahead of time. Participants were able to dress up and watch from home with a cocktail in hand. Our team enjoyed attending and we won several awards at both events.

We are also excited to be one of the many builders showcasing our work during the 2020 virtual Remodeled Homes Tour on Saturday, October 24th. Come join us and walk through Nip Tuck’s projects virtually.
