Kirkland Condo Multiple Bathrooms
Condo Chic Kirkland Bathroom Remodel
Primary & Guest Bath Renovation | Downtown Kirkland Condominium
Challenge
The original condominium bathrooms lacked personality, warmth, and the level of design refinement the homeowners envisioned. An old, non-functioning jacuzzi tub took up valuable space.
In the primary bathroom, storage was inadequate, the layout felt clinical, and a poorly utilized partition wall consumed valuable square footage while concealing an air vent. Condominium building constraints also eliminated the possibility of installing a freestanding tub, requiring a more creative solution that could still deliver a luxurious, spa-like experience.
In the guest bathroom, compartmentalized walls and an enclosed shower made the space feel tight, disconnected, and visually heavy.
Solution
In the primary bathroom, we rebuilt the existing partition wall to incorporate the air vent while expanding its depth to create a full linen cabinet, transforming wasted space into purposeful storage. A built-in soaking tub with a seamless stone slab surround and frameless glass partition was integrated directly into the shower, creating a more elegant and functional alternative to the original freestanding tub concept. Large-format tile, herringbone mosaic flooring, layered mixed-metal finishes, and integrated toe-kick lighting introduced warmth, texture, and a curated sense of luxury. In the guest bathroom, we removed a portion of the wall separating the toilet and shower areas and replaced it with glass, opening the room visually and improving flow while elevated finishes and custom detailing gave the space a refined, intentional character.
Result
The result of this Kirkland condo bathroom remodel is a pair of highly individualized bathrooms that balance sophistication, warmth, and functionality, transforming standard condominium spaces into artful, layered environments that feel deeply personal to the homeowners.
