2018 Award Winner – NKBA 1st Place Large Bath
Once a Street of Dreams home, this Woodinville home was ready for an update. We remodeled the bathroom to create a much more open feeling by deleting the heavy wall to wall built in tub at the back of the room and the wing walls for the large shower. The existing cabinetry and millwork were in good shape, so they were given a fresh coat of paint and we built a new open cabinet for better storage. We also added wainscott to the walls to add a touch of classic elegance.
Large mirrors were replaced and framed out to update the space and Quartzite countertops with undermount sinks installed. The freestanding tub at the back of the room sits beautifully in front of the window.
The shower really is a focal point with the dramatic back wall of patterned tile, double shower heads and custom niches on both sides of the shower.
