Located on the 24th floor of a high rise in downtown Seattle, this condo welcomes you with neutral tones, clean lines and a new modern aesthetic to compliment the 180 degree views of the Seattle waterfront and the space needle.
Our clients had chosen to downsize and fully embrace city living after years in a very traditional (much larger) home. This condo is 1,200 sq ft and finding a way to open up the kitchen to the dining room and fully capture the view was one of the driving forces behind the renovation.
This was an exciting and challenging project for us. Over the course of 6 months, we updated / remodeled just about every surface in this condo. The pictures in our gallery are focused on the kitchen & hall bath as the master bedroom is still being accessorized and we’ll come back for pictures soon.
Designed by Gail Dent of Provanti Designs, this space has an open, inviting kitchen and makes the most of every space available. It has beautifully designed, horizontal grain cabinets in two colors, and a suede finished quartz countertop & backsplash with custom waterfalls at both ends. The refrigerator & dishwasher have integrated panels making them almost disappear and one of our client’s most exciting appliances was the flush mounted, Wolfe induction cooktop. Best of all, we removed all the obstacles in the walls & ceiling that were hampering the fantastic views!
The hall bathroom was such a small space that we had to be very creative with the design. After many go rounds with options, Gail found a curved glass shower door manufactured by Fluerco and we built the shower to accommodate it. The entire bathroom (floor & walls) are tiled with two colors of Porcelenosa tile and the vanity comes to life with new cabinets topped with a quartz countertop, shimmery pendants and an illuminated mirror.
The updates now match the wonderful views of the city skyline and Puget Sound.
