We began working with the owners of this Mill Creek home in the Fall of 2013. They were in need of a new shower because of a leak that had left it inoperable for over a year. Over the course of the next six months, we and the designer, Melinda Slater, created an entirely new look and feel to the master bath.
Our objective was to give the space a more open feel, bring in natural elements of wood and stone as well as crafting a one of a kind space.
We opened up the room by removing the dividing wall between showering and vanity area, removed the oddly shaped dropped soffits and completely eliminated the tub which gave more room to spread out the vanity area.
By installing custom, floating cabinetry from Abodian and adding under cabinet lighting, we were able to create depth and mood lighting which was very important to our client.
The floors have radiant heat installed and we were able to run the heat into the shower for added comfort.
In the end, our clients are entirely delighted and loving their new space.
