Part of the joy of remodeling is seeing the homes we work in undergo significant change. This house is in Klahanie and we updated the whole main floor.
Let there be light! The new kitchen has a much larger window and we removed the upper cabinet between the window & the door. It feels so much lighter and with all the new cabinetry, the cabinet is not missed at all. The kitchen remodel included creating a large island for the family for meals, a much larger window for added light, we moved the dreaded cooktop off of the island and moved the refrigerator to a better location.
The family room shelves and fireplace probably looks pretty familiar! The brick fireplace with raised hearth is now sleek and updated. We ordered new doors for the built in cabinet and then painted the entire piece to match the new kitchen. The family room was also updated with new hardwoods and lighting,
Small changes make a huge difference! The dining room shows off the new hardwood flooring, new light fixture and a fresh paint color which literally transformed the space.
The house got all new baseboards & a new trim detail around the front door and then we simply painted all the stained millwork for a fresh, updated look.
New vanity & top to match the kitchen, updated fixtures and paint transform this main floor powder. We updated the powder room to match the rest of the space and painted all the walls, doors & millwork on the main floor.
