This project created some special challenges. Our client’s had a very special, 110 year old, birds eye maple dresser that they dreamed of re-purposing into a vanity for their new powder room.
The original piece was in beautiful condition except that the marble top had broken beyond repair and the mirror had some silver spots. We took great care to recreate the dresser top, mimicking the original side supports and mirror ledge. However, the vessel sink required a slight modification to the ledge behind the sink and was templated to mirror the curve of the sink. We also took the mirror in and had it re-silvered.
