Blush & Beautiful Bridle Trails Primary Bath Remodel
A New Twist on a Classic Look
These Bridle Trails homeowners were tired of their outdated and impractical primary bath. Their ask was straightforward: Bring the bathroom into the 21st century.
- A spacious, luxurious shower to replace the seldom-used bathtub
- More space & storage in the vanity
- A revised layout
- Heated, wood-look tile flooring
- A custom concrete countertop with a chiseled edge
Challenge
The mix of different and dated floorings — especially the carpeted steps leading up to the bathtub — harkened back to a time when functionality was not top priority. Our team needed to find a way to turn this space into an oasis of modern luxury.
Solution
We started by replacing the old flooring with durable and moisture-resistant tiles and installed radiant heat underneath, a welcome treat for cold feet during the winter. We then swapped the built-in bathtub for an elegantly-shaped Kohler Veil freestanding tub. This luxurious spot is now the perfect place for the clients to soak away the day’s stress while enjoying the view of the original, custom-etched glass bay window. Rather than the traditional His & Hers vanities, which the clients didn’t care for, we installed an expansive single trough sink with two faucets. With some final improvements, including an enlarged shower, increased storage, towel warmers and blush-colored walls, this primary bathroom is now complete.
Result
These homeowners can now enjoy a bathroom that is just as beautiful as it is functional for years to come!
